Houston Council, 70, of Dyersburg, died Monday, May 9, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was a retired hairstylist, a member of Southside Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran and Korean Conflict.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Naylor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
