He was a loving husband, a devoted father and recently became a proud grandfather.
He was president of Copeland Metals Sales Inc. in Decatur. He was an accomplished artist and musician.
Born March 26, 1956, in Granite City, Ill., he attended Granite City schools and worked at the former National Steel plant in Granite City. He was later employed by Huntco Steel in Hickman, Ark., and lived in Dyersburg before moving to Alabama.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Irwin Funeral Home in Glen Carbon, Ill. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens in Glen Carbon.
