Rev. Harvey Yance, 71, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a retired security guard for Murray Guard, a minister of the Church of Jesus Christ and a veteran of U.S. Air Force.

Services were Thursday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bishop Jimmy Ennis Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
