James Sawyer

James Sawyer, 84, of Gates, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Baptist Hospital-Lauderdale in Ripley.

He was a retired employee of Tupperware in Halls and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity C.M.E. Church Cemetery in Gates with the Rev. Dorsey Cook presiding.

H.H. Hudson Funeral Home in Dyersburg is in charge of arrangements.
