He was an employee of Goodyear for 30 years and was a member of Protemus Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services were Sunday at White-Mahon Funeral Home in Union City with the Rev. James Gunter and Dr. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial was in Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Morris of Obion; two daughters, Twyla Freeman and husband, Kenneth, of Kenton and Michelle Franks and husband, Tony, of Newbern; a son, Jeff Morris of Union City; two sisters, Diane Williams of Magnolia, Ark. and Virue Burpo of Troy; two brothers, Davy Lunsford of Smithton, Ill. and Allen Lunsford of Monroe, Ga.; and four grandchildren, Ryan Chandler of Union City, Alex Franks and Alison Franks, both of Newbern and Emily Freeman of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Morris; a sister; and two brothers.
Pallbearers were Rick Searcy, Doug Cunningham, Greg Ferguson, Garry Bennett, Tom Gargus, Stacy Hutchison, Larry Finch and Jimmy Smith.
