City gains industry grant for new plant

More than $630,000 was awarded to Dyersburg to aid NSK Steering Systems with infrastructure requirements at the firm's plant in the city's North Industrial Park.

The grant comes from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development's FastTrack Infrastructure Development Program.

The grant will be used to assist NSK with water, sewer and gas line extensions. Funding for the $12,302,400 project will include $11,500,000 in company funds and $168,504 in local funds.
