Fred Joseph Caldwell Jr.
Fred Joseph Caldwell Jr., 83, of Tiptonville, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired farmer and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Don Reel officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery.
Survivors include a sister, Hellen C. Rice of Tiptonville; two nieces, Jennifer Campbell of Tiptonville and Elaine Zaricor of Dyer; a nephew, Dr. Robin Algee of Dyersburg; two great-nieces who cared for him, Joey C. Ragan of Ridgely and Lori Callens of Tiptonville; and other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Joseph Caldwell Sr. and GeorgElla Hopson Caldwell; and a sister, Ellen C. Stevens.
Pallbearers will be Shelby Barker, Johnny Dean, Dennis Whitson, Keith Hulme, John Howell and David Work. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie "Skipper" Pierce Jr. and Hershell Runion.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
Nelda Kay Hendrix
Nelda Kay Hendrix, 60, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a housewife and a member of Hurricane Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Curry Funeral Home with Pastor Pamela Lannom and the Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Hill Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Joe E. Hendrix of Dyersburg; a daughter, Lisa Campbell and husband, Mike, of Dyersburg; her mother, Mable Moser Daniels; a sister, Lena Moody of Finley; and a grandchild, Allie Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dewitt Daniels; a sister, Betty Sue Daniels; and two brothers, Joe Paul Daniels and Thomas Daniels.
Pallbearers will be Robert Mauldin, Todd Mauldin, Josh Daniels, Justin Daniels, Craig Hendrix and Jay Hendrix. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Lindley, Marshall Myers, Jody Daniels, Trevor Murray, Charles Ozment, Tom Foster and Robert Mauldin Jr.

Herbert M. Murray
Herbert M. Murray, 93, of Memphis, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007.
He was retired from Colonial Bakery, a member of McLean Baptist Church and Scottish Rite.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Family Funeral Care in Memphis.
The family will receive visitors from 2-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Bill Murray of Memphis; a daughter, Melanie Dacus of Memphis; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Gladys Camp Murray; a sister, Marguerite Bland; and a brother, W.P. Murray.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to McLean Baptist Church, the Bonicord Fire Department, or the Alzheimer's Association.

Ashlyn Shae Sisk, 11 months, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating.
The family will receive visitors at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her parents, Robbie Blythe and Joanna Lynn Sisk of Dyersburg; a sister, Amanda Sisk of Dyersburg; two brothers, Trevor Blythe of Ridgely and Jacob Sisk of Dyersburg; grandparents Ronald and Barbara Davis of Newbern, Kelly and Clady Jones and Jerry Blythe, all of Ridgely; uncles and aunts Tim and Cherie Ward of Yorkville, and David and Jenny Faulkner of Trimble; and cousins Jessie Ward and Hunter Ward, both of Yorkville, and Jordan Taylor and Peyton Faulkner, both of Trimble.
