Norman Ray Evans, 81, of Newbern, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at Ridgely Care & Rehabilitation Center.
He was a retired Fuller Brush salesman and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern with the Rev. Danny Klutts officiating. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a niece, Beth Evans Swims of Newbern; and two great-nieces, Tammy Swims of Dyersburg and Christina Marie Swims of Rochelle, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Wingo Evans; his parents, Mark and Celia Adams Evans; and a brother, Jack Evans.
Miranda Jackson, 33, of Tiptonville, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Tiptonville with the Rev. Terry Bolden officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery in Tiptonville. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at 1 p.m. today at the church.
Survivors include a son, Brandon Lee Bolden of Tiptonville; her father, Fred Jackson of Dyersburg; three sisters, Atoy Reynolds and Avis Davis, both of Dyersburg and Selma Jackson of Milwaukee, Wis.; and seven brothers, Raymond Davis and Tyrone Davis, both of Minneapolis, Minn., Fred Jackson Jr., Ebony Jackson and Fred Jackson III, all of Dyersburg, Charles Jackson and Treginold Jackson, both of Milwaukee, Wis.
Pallbearers will be Terry Webb, Kenny Bolden, Ned Jones, Harold Hughes, Dillon Robinson and Fred Jackson.
Harry Chandler, of Hornbeak, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at Ridgely Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern.
