David Wayne Botkins, 48, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was an employee of Excel Polymers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Simpson Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Megan Dena Botkins of Dyersburg; four sisters, Jackie Joy of Newbern, Ginger Henson of Dyersburg, Ima Sue Moore and Mary Mitchell, both of Washington, Mo.; and two brothers, Steve Botkins of Knoxville; and a grandchild, Hannah Alexus Botkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Steven and Ima Nell Botkins; a sister, Rana Marie Pope; and a brother, Johnny Doyle Botkins.
Pallbearers will be Marty Hurst, Johnny Baker, Craig Cogdell, Jimmy Wheeler, Travis Davison and Chris Simpson. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Hall and Brad Hurst.
Maxine Goodwin Kirby, 81, of Fowlkes, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Patton Memorial Evangelical Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Halls Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Fork Cemetery near Halls.
The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Craig and husband Ronnie of Newbern, Sara Kirby, and Patsy Hunter and husband Gary, all of Bonicord; two sons, David Kirby and wife Diann, and Danny "Chubby" Kirby and wife Cheryl, all of Fowlkes; five grandchildren, Stephen Craig and wife Rona and Melanie Parker and husband Lynn, all of Newbern, Brad Kirby, and Dani Kirby and companion Wayne Walker, all of Dyersburg, and Eric Kirby of Fowlkes; three great-grandchildren, Shelby Parker, Craig Parker and Tanner Parker; a nephew, Jimmy Goodwin of Santa Anna, Calif.; and a longtime friend and neighbor, Frances Woodley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, R.B. Kirby; and two brothers, I.C. Goodwin and Ira Lee Goodwin.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Craig, Lynn Parker, Brad Kirby, Eric Kirby, Wayne Walker and James "Smitty" Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be R.H. Kirby, Eugene Sykes and Billy Jones.

Wilda Dianne Maynard, 58, of Orange City, Fla., formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Maynard and Brother Tom Henry officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include four sons, Adam Barone, Chris Barone, Michael Barone and Mark Barone; a sister, Doris Garner of Thomasville, Ga.; three brothers, Dr. Jerry Maynard of Nashville, Thomas Maynard of Covington and Brownie Maynard of Chicago; two nieces, Lisa Doolittle and Debbie Gardner, both of Townsend; and an aunt, Lavenia Sollis of Dyersburg.
Pallbearers will be Adam Barone, Chris Barone, Michael Barone and Mark Barone.
Ann Thornton, 78, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, at her residence.
