Felicia Reaves, 45, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She was a registered nurse for 20 years.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Ballinger officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Reaves of Dyersburg; a daughter, Alison Hicks of Dyersburg; a son, Matthew Daniels of Cordova; her parents, Marshal and Clara Burns, both of Dyersburg; two brothers, Wendell Burns and Randy Burns, both of Dyersburg; and a granddaughter, Peyton Hicks of Dyersburg.


Patricia Marie Tate, 32, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 at Gibson General Hospital in Trenton.

She attended Evansville Free Holiness Church of God.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include a brother, William Tate of Dyersburg; her stepfather, Ronald Swearengin of Dyersburg; a stepsister, Crystal Swearengin of Dresden; an aunts and uncles, Frances and John Turnbo and William Cathy Tate, all of Dyersburg, Louise and Danny Reeves of Parsons and George and Brenda Tate of Newbern.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shebby Tate; a brother, Sam Tate; and her grandparents, Thomas and Ruth Tate.

Pallbearers will be Jason Turnbo, Joseph Turnbo, Brian Elridge, Sam Reeves, Steven Daniels and John Ferguson.


Peggy Davis Shipman, 75, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She was a retired employee of Dyersburg State Community College, a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and The Sewing Circle.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Jack Rogers officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Columbarium.

The family will receive visitors at 1-2 p.m. today in the Wheeler Room at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Shipman Hearron and husband, Sandy, of Ridgeland, Miss.; two sons, Hank Shipman and wife, Michelle, of Santa Maria, Calif. and Thomas Hunt Shipman and wife, Alison, of Falls Church, Va.; two brothers, Eddie Davis and wife, Dudley, of Dyersburg and Jack Davis of Harlingen, Texas; and eight grandchildren, Rob Watson, Meghan Shipman, Stuart Watson, Nelson Shipman, Ann Shipman, Brandon Shipman, Thomas Shipman and Margaret Shipman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Franklin Davis Jr. and Hazel Joslin Davis.
