Bobby Atkins, 59, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007 at his residence.
He was minister of music for Hillcrest Baptist Church for 31 years and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, West Tennessee Baptist Men's Chorale and Tennessee Baptist Men's Chorale.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Lynn King and the Rev. Joe Naylor officiating. Burial will be in South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at 4-8 p.m. today at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Atkins; a daughter, Jana Suzanne Thompson and husband, Jerry Lynn Thompson Jr., of Bell Buckle; a son, Arty Jason Atkins of Dyersburg; his mother, Mary Frances Atkins of Dyersburg; a sister, Milba Sutton of Ripley; a brother, Ricky Steve Atkins of Dyersburg; and two grandchildren, Kaleigh Davis and Ella Grace Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milburn Richard Atkins.
Pallbearers will be Gene West, Buster Gibson, Greg Alford, John Jeffries, Vandel Spoon and Roy Childress. Honorary pallbearers will be men of the Young In Heart.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Betty Jo Callison, 55, of Fulton, Ky., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 at her residence.
Graveside services were held Friday at Stanley Chapel Cemetery in Union City with Bro. Frank Quinn and Bishop Robert Johnson officiating. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Callison of Fulton, Ky.; a daughter, Casey Walls of Fulton, Ky.; two sons, Michael Reynolds of Boaz, Ky., and Jason Baggett of Fulton, Ky.; a sister, Sandra Deerman of Westblockton, Ala.; and five grandchildren.
Richard Walter "Scrapiron" Lattimer, 65, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 at his residence.
He was a self-employed welder.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 5:30-7 p.m. at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Survivors include five daughters, Debra Ann Pollard of Dyersburg, Merilee Lattimer of New York, Naomi Lattimer and Shannon Lattimer, both of Canada, and Patricia Lori McCord of Finley; two sons, Billy Walter Lattimer of Dyersburg and Marc Lattimer of New York; three sisters, Beverly King and Marly Nlow, both of Pennsylvania, and Janice McNeal of Virginia; a brother, Jack Lattimer of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren, Calvin Lattimer, Billy Joe Lattimer, Johnny Wayne Lattimer, Martina Dial, Scotty Reeves, Kelly Reeves, Marc Jason Lattimer, Cory Robert Lattimer and Kyle James Lattimer; and nine great-grandchildren, Timothy Lynn Lattimer, Jayce Mayliah Lattimer, Larry Tyler Gauge Lattimer, Brianna Marie Reeves, Haley Brooke Manus, Katlyn Nicole Manus, Christopher Wallace Dial, Makayla Ann Thompson and Jacob Lee Dial.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Margett Rebecca Lattimer; a brother, Robert Lattimer; and a grandson, Larry Dial.
