Virginia "Dale" Wiggins Flowers, 61, of Dyersburg, formerly of Halls, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 in Jackson.
She was a retired employee of G.E. Sylvania and a member of East Dyersburg United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethesda Methodist Church in Halls. Burial will be in Thurmond Cemetery in Halls. Halls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Weaver of Newbern; a son, Bryant Flowers of Dyersburg; her mother, Syble Wiggins of Halls; a sister, Joyce Riddick of Gates; two brothers, Adron Wiggins Jr. of Halls and Jerry Wiggins of Friendship; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be directed to Floyd's Chapel Benevolent Fund.
Jimmy Webb Olive, 65, of Hermitage, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 at his residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home in Camden with Bro. Jim Ellis and Bro. James Hooper officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Olive of Hermitage; a sister, Betty Hooper and husband, James, of Dyersburg; a sister-in-law, Barbara Olive of Dyersburg; three nieces, Lorri Huff and husband, Andy, of Union City, Cynthia McClure and husband, Marty, and Jennifer Wood and husband, Rob, all of Dyersburg; three nephews, Dr. Michael Olive and wife, Star of Franklin, Brian Olive and wife, Romana, of Bartlett and William Olive and wife, Amy, of Jackson; and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Drudy Webb Olive; and three brothers, James Olive, Robert Olive and Gerald Olive.
Albert Lee Young, 80, of Newbern, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 at Baptist Hospital-East in Memphis.
He was a U.S. Postal Service employee in Hayti, Mo., a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Church of Christ.
Services will be at 10:30 Friday in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Dustin Forthum and Bro. Tom Bright officiating. Burial will be in Pemiscot Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors at 4:30-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Sue Medlin Young of Newbern; two daughters, Susan Leigh Mulliniks of Hayti, Mo. and Linda Lee Rhodes of Gosnell, Ark.; two sons, Daniel Wayne Young and Robert Eugene Young, both of Newbern; a sister, Ruby Rebecca Young Jones of Caruthersville, Mo.; a brother, Fred Lynn Young of Hillsboro, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Wayne Young; his parents, Elbert Clyde Young and Maudie Mae Griggs Young; a sister, Florence Elizabeth Young Garrow; and a brother, James Wesley Young.
Pallbearers will be Steve house, Jeff Strawn, Bob Strawn, Curt Medlin, Myron Medlin and Dennis House.
