Flois "Murphy" Murphy Jr., 82, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at his residence.

He was retired manager of Amerigas and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at in the chapel Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Dodd and Bro. Tommy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Millie Weaver Murphy of Dyersburg; two daughters, Janet Greer and husband, Jack, of Dyersburg and Carole Tweedy and husband, Jerry, of Plumerville, Ark.; two sons, Ron Murphy and wife, Wanda, of Cordova and Tommy "T.C." Barrineau and wife, Nancy, of Dyersburg; two sisters, Rose Napier and husband, Howard, and Betty Dunn and husband, Charles, all of Union City; a brother, Robert "Bob" Murphy and wife, Patricia, of St. Claire Shores, Mich.; six grandchildren, Melissa Braubaker, J.J. Glover, Tod Tweedy, Ashlee McCollum, Sabrina Murphy and Rhonda Murphy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Flois Murphy Sr. and Ethel Arant Murphy; a sister, Glenda Fair Polston; a brother, Cleo Murphy; and a great-grandson, Andrew Joseph Glover.

Pallbearers will be Todd Tweedy, Jeff McGehee, Matt McGehee, Josh McGehee, Paul Rose and Stephen Safaeih. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Hill, James Purnell, Johnny Smith, Sammy McGuire Jr., Walt Moore, Kenneth Jones, Sammy McGuire Sr. and Kevin McGuire.

Elaine White Davis, of Trenton, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at Wesley Health Care in Trenton.

She was a retired security guard.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shelton Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Dennison of Milton, Wis.; three step children, Kippy Gourley of Memphis, Synthia Katliff of Martin and Henry White Jr. of Double Oak, Texas; five step grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her long time companion, Henry White Sr.

Betty Jane Murray, 78, of Newbern, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of Palestine Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Graveside services will be at noon Saturday in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Newbern with Dr. Bill Oakley officiating.

The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. Saturday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

Survivors include a son, Michael Dale Murray and wife, June, of Newbern; four sisters, Sondra Combs, Alice McIntosh and Violet Stout, all of Newbern and Vinnie Phillips of Dyersburg; a brother, Sidney McKnight of Halls; two grandchildren, Chad Murray and wife, Lisa, and Angie Fortner and husband, Rusty, all of Newbern; and three great-grandchildren, Hailey Murray, Taylor Murray and Tyler Murray, all of Newbern.

Pallbearers will be Chad Murray, Rusty Fortner, Barry Scobey, Donnie Scobey, Billy Scobey, Gary Stout, Durand McIntosh and Joe Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Ferguson.

Lora Jean Winchester, 62, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of Westside Baptist Church in Dyersburg.

A memorial service will b e at 4 p.m. Saturday at Westside Baptist Church with Bro. James Combs officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Ruie Winchester of Dyersburg; three daughters, Karen Winchester of Newbern, Shelia Canada and Crystal Bullard, both of Dyersburg; five sons, Russell Chism, Jeff Winchester and Steven Winchester, all of Dyersburg, Kenneth Chism of Newbern and Jason Winchester of Gates; three sisters, Martha Jean Langston, Judy Mullins and Patricia Haley, all of Dyersburg; a brother, William "Bill" H. Augdon Jr. of Dyersburg; and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henery and Mirtie B. Cartwright Augdon.
