Obituaries for Dec. 31, 2007

Marilyn June Boling, 72, of Troy, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

She was a retired civil-service employee and a member of South Fork Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Friendship Funeral Home with the Rev. John Hayes officiating. Burial will be in South Fork Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda McCreary of Troy and Laura Hale of Obion; a brother, Lynn Bivens of Friendship; and three grandchildren, Jacob Hale, Mikey Hale and Kelsey McCreary.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jon Hale.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Carroll, Eddie Ownsby, Glenn Hale, Jacob Hale, Mikey Hale and Freddie Bivens.
