Dyersburg police are looking for the man suspected in the armed robbery of a convenience store early Saturday.

Ray Michael "Bubba" Orman, 27, 383 Deal Rd., is sought for questioning for the hold-up of the Lake Road Food Shop, 2525 Lake Rd., at about 4:50 a.m.

According to reports, Orman was identified as the suspect who used a small black handgun to get an undisclosed amount of cash from the store.

Witnesses said Orman drove away from the scene in a red Toyota pickup truck with a decal noting "In loving memory of JHK" in the back glass window. A female was reported to have been a passenger in the truck.

The vehicle is registered to a Dyer resident, police said.

Orman is described as a white male, 6-feet tall, 197 lbs., with brown curly hair.

Jail records show Orman has a prior criminal record in Dyer County, including theft and assault charges.

Anyone with information about Orman's location is urged to call the police department at (731) 285-1212.

You want to see him sent to the electric chair for robbing a store? Not even people that commit violent crimes get that type of sentencing!

I'm not defending what Bubba did, not by any means, but he was a good person at one time. Such a sweet guy. His sister, whom he was very close to, died very unexpectedly about 7 years ago and that's when you saw a change in him. Too bad this happened....

I get sick of seeing all this robbery stuff. Dude just get a job and learn to make your own way or better yet just throw it all up in the air and let the government pay for everything. Either way I would rather see him caught and tried and then sent to the electric chair.. He is definiely a waste of our oxygen and I would like someone to give Elvis a message for me. LOL
