Ruth Evelyn Reasons, 72, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker.
Services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Thompson officiating. Burial was in Dyer County Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg.
Survivors include three daughters, Lorri Willis and husband, Johnny, of Dyersburg, and Beverly Pilkenton and husband, Shane, and Kim Price and husband, Terry, all of Newbern; a son, Randy Reasons and wife, Linda, of Newbern; two sisters, Christine Hart of Dyersburg and Elise Bridgewater and husband, A.C., of Paris; and eight grandchildren, Emily Deal, Lane Pilkenton, Hunter Pilkenton, Halli Reasons, Trevor Reasons, Logan Price, Alex Price and Perilee Willis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Reasons; and her parents, Odie B. and Nomia Ruth Wilkerson.
Pallbearers were Lane Pilkenton, Shane Pilkenton, Johnny Willis, Terry Price, Barry Hart, Hunter Pilkenton and Logan Price.
Sara Alice Smith, 67, of Cordova, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and a member of Hope Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at Friendship Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Bedwell officiating.
The family will receive visitors at 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Donald K. Smith and wife, Melissa, of Cordova; a sister, Pattye Starrett of Tiptonville; and two brothers, the Rev. Jimmy Bedwell of Pinson and Terry Bedwell of Bainbridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Smith; and her parents, James Carter Bedwell and Mildred Williams Bedwell.

Virgil White, 81, of Nashville, formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville.
He was retired as district manager for Gates Rubber Co., a member of Blakemore United Methodist Church in Nashville and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bennie Hopper and Jerry Ashley officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sue White; a daughter, Shelia Mendez of Winter Park, Fla.; a son, Barry Lynn White of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Leonard White of Newbern; and two grandchildren, Wendy Ashley of Nashville and Jeffery White of Memphis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ida Elizabeth White, and a brother, O.G. White.
