Dorothy Lorraine Walker Edmaiston, 83, of Memphis, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008 at Methodist Hospital-North in Memphis.
She was a retired employee of St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis, a lifetime member of West Frayser Baptist Church, 20-year volunteer with St. Joseph Hospital Hospitality service and a part-time employee of Aircon Corporation of Memphis.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion Methodist Church in Cloverdale with Jeffrey A. Talley officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include four sons, Terry Edmaiston, John Edmaiston, Fred Edmaiston and James Edmaiston, all of Memphis; three sisters, Jean Ann Hayes of Dyersburg, Patsy Wright of Obion and Gail Campu of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, Melvin Walker of Southaven, Miss.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Edmaiston; her parents, John Elbridge and Shelley Jones Walker; and a sister, Lucille Gunn.
Pallbearers will be Chad Fultz, Jeff Nicks, Gary Gunn, Tommy Gunn, Richard Fitzgerald and Nolan Gunn.
