Obituaries for Feb. 29, 2008

Neil Dyer, of Halls, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Halls First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Halls Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Halls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Johnny Robertson, 56, of Ridgely, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. today in the chapel of Ridgely United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Loyanne Robertson Cope of San Antonio, Texas; and a nephew, John Adams of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Lucille Robertson.
