Dyersburg State Community College will celebrate Earth Day in the new Learning Resource Center at 1 p.m., today, with a presentation by Monica Clutch, the Tennessee Program Director for The Nature Conservancy.
Clutch is canoeing the entire Hatchie River -- a 200-mile trip -- in 20-mile segments to gauge the health of this undammed and unchannelized river. To document her discoveries, she is regularly posting the Hatchie River Blog. The Hatchie River is the last free flowing river in the lower Mississippi Valley and much of the southeast.
She will make a 30-45 minute presentation and address questions after her speech.

This looks very interesting. Would you have the blog site. I am interested in reading the information. Thanks.
