Danny Ray Jones Jr., 35, was arrested at 65 Peach Rd. on Thursday by a joint effort of investigators from the Dyersburg Police Department, Dyer County Sheriff's Department and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Jones was indicted on one count of conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine and two counts of sale of methamphetamine (more than 50 grams).
The Peach Road address is the same location where in March eight people were arrested on methamphetamine charges, including Jones.
The federal indictment, which was presented as a true bill on April 21, accuses Jones in the first count of conspiring to "obtain methamphetamine from co-conspirators ... and then to develop a market for and distribute the illicit and illegally obtained methamphetamine in the vicinity of Dyer County, Tenn. It was further part of the conspiracy to distribute the methamphetamine and to collect the proceeds for the financial benefit and use of the co-conspirators."
The indictment notes dates of Feb. 7, Feb. 23 and April 18, 2007 as dates when Jones dealt the methamphetamine.
Jones was scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate in Jackson on Friday.
He agreed in March to be bound over to the Dyer County Grand Jury for the first arrest, but the local case is yet to be presented.

well here is a first for you mrman....very dear friend tried crack one time...was dead before she hit the ground..her heart blew up, literally...she left a husband and two beautiful children behind...was told oh go ahead it cant hurt you....nuff said
I also know someone that used to be addicted to crack. She went through almost 2 years of treatment and is clean and happy now but before she got help she lost a house and everything in it. The only thing she had was the clothes on her back. I am proud to say that she has been clean for almost 3 years now and doing wonderful.
Crack IS addictive and can and will destroy your life and everyone around you. Just think about how the kids feel when they hear other people talk about their parents being crackheads or addicts. Its will destroy you inside and out.

im sorry but meth is not crack,crack is cocaine and is a very strong drug and is hard to get off of.meth is man made from acid ,farm fertilizer,even rat poison,i had a good friend that got on meth 8 years ago and is still on it he is 25 years old and looks 40. his parents and i have got him help and he would check himself out and even fight the docters,he and i had a talk about this drug and he said there was no turning back when you get so far on this drug,he told me that meth runs his life and nothing will help!he told me he wished he had never started cause it was killing him,but i try to help him every day cause he is my friend.

Now that you are more informed on the reason for discussion involving "crack" instead of "meth" that has been going on in this comment section, I am sure you can unterstand our need to make sure that any children who might read this are correctly informed to the REAL dagers of Crack Cocaine as well as the real and terrible dangers of meth.

Finaly titans ,someone is getting the picture its not a race thing to me but just proving a point. When the club 51 ,thing was going on and the man who shot his self on 77, and when the cops busted the three guys making crack ,and when my friend got shot on upper finley rd,and when the story came out about forcing all the bad people to leave, it was a black thing but why when i make a statement about this Jones dude everyone is saying its not a race issue ,true but my hole point is if you cant take this on this subject, then dont make it one on any of these stories cause ,it is just as many white and black drug dealers. Yeah, I screwed up pretty good. Wasn't the first time, and probobly won't be the last, but I do apologize when I am wrong. And I've just now seen how a bunch of the posts get deleted on here. Everyone makes mistakes, and there is no set standard on what a persons rock bottom is. For some a slap on the wrist will do it, for others it takes alot more. Loved ones have the responsibilty of trying to change the persons life for the better, even though sometimes its very difficult and you catch alot of crap for doing it, believe me, I know. With all of your support, he will get better, you just have to show him the way, and maybe drag him along from time to time.

No I am not connected to TJJ. My husband is friends with him. I have had a relative in jail before (many years ago) and yes he was innocent. Thats what I was talking about. My sympathies are with the innocent and the families of the innocent. They do have it better there than alot of folks do. I did not say treat them like animals. But the murderers, molesters, and anyone else along that line is the ones I was referring to not the guy doin weekends. Crime needs to stop in Dyersburg.
