 Safety specialists from American Environmental Service in Southhaven, Miss. study some of the chemicals found during a methamphetamine bust on Harrell Avenue on Thursday. Three people were arrested in the parking lot of the Mini Mart convenience store, where the mobile meth lab was removed from the suspects' vehicle. |
When the vehicle was pulled over, the three inside began acting suspicious. After officers removed the trio from the vehicle, a fabric cooler containing materials for making methamphetamine was found inside.
Lodged in the Dyer County Jail on methamphetamine manufacturing charges are Loressa Fay Nease, 31, of 2740 Possum Trot Rd., Troy; her brother, Robbie Gene Powers, 27, of 1549 Glass Rd., Hornbeak; and Timothy Clay Smith, 21, of 765 Canada Dr., Obion.
The car was impounded by police after the arrest and the methamphetamine lab was placed on the pavement of the Mini Mart parking lot.
A clean-up crew from Southhaven, Miss., arrived at about 10 p.m. to analyze and remove the lab.
The three were scheduled to appear in Dyersburg City Court on Friday.

Caringforall, no im not im from the westside i dont care what his name is but thanks for the comment.Excuse me, Whaller ,instead of him taking care of the meth he was to concerned questioning me caus i had my pistol on my hip so he made a big seen with me asking me if i had a gun permit and i told him if i didnt i would not have it on my hip .I didnt have a problem with him asking ,i had the problem when he tried to pull my shirt down over it ,thats my right to carry it the way i want i dont have a concelled permit i have a carry permit wich gives me the right to carry it anyway i want and not him to try and cover it . He violated my rights when he done that, like i said police see my gun on my hip all the time and never bother me but one and it was him . He waited till i got in the store infornt of all those people and made a seen and i didnt like it ,all he had to say is do you have a permit and i would have showed him and left it alone but just him seeing it wasnt good enough. Thats why i got it to carry it and protect me and my family and if he dont like it tough, its my right and its the law that gives me that right so i will not cover it !
This is right across the street from a day care. Do people really care so little. We all have seen the destructive power of these chemicals when they ignite.

What ever happened to getting high on life? Don't these people know you could get a natural high just by exercising? Maybe playing with your healthy, happy child? Seeing an older person's eyes light up when you enter the room?
Why put this corrosive trash into your body and drag your family and friends down.....It is terrible to say this, but some people just seem to be a waste of humanity.

It's always a great day when drug dealers and users have been removed from the streets.
I know these three people. They have been in and out of jail for a few years due to this drug. It's a good thing that they are behind bars. Good ridenance to bad rubbish! Hope all three get about 8 years to think about it! One of them is on Parole so he will be locked up for some time!
The question was will the meth ever stop..As long as there are people out there looking for a high and they can get access to the products that goes into it. You can go online and find out exactly how to make it..Is that not crazy. There needs to be more out there to telling these people what this junk can do to their bodies and how it can mess them up for life. They also need to know exactly what to expect when they are arrested and proscecuted. They need to know once they are convicted how it will ruin their life and any chance of ever having a decent job. There just is not enough to warn folks. Back when I was young, some would have a few beers, and that was the extent of their high..Drugs came along, but I didn't know anyone who used. Boy, how things have changed..It just seems the paper always has negative things, and boy, I'd like to hear some good news..

Possum Trot is not nearly as cool as Frog Jump or Tiger Tail.
Speaking for all the good families that live on Possum Trot Rd..I hope they keep these meth heads!

If you scare a possum it will trot.It will sharpon its teethon your2by4s under your house,also slap their strong tail on youra/c duck,s and the sound,s very frighting. I passed by Mini Mart and saw one police car then two more, thinking it was a robbery gone down.
I was there at Mini Mart when this went down and Whaler was all over this, they finaly got something done on there own .Note to the bad people how stupid can you be, Milltown is the last place you need to be if your doing something like this cause Whaler will be all over you even if your not doing wrong .All you have to do is just past him and he thinks your suspicious of something but i wont complain this time cause they done something write and it sure was a sight to see !

I have to say the Possum Trot Rd. has to be one of the coolest...yet most Redneck...things that I have ever heard! I don't think I have ever seen a trotting Oppossum but sure would entertain the thought of viewing one. Award for best Rd. name goes to Possum Trot Rd.
