Barry Dale Leach, 62, of Dyer, died Saturday, May 31, 2008.

He was a retired machinist, a retired member of the National Guard and a Baptist.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Survivors include three sisters, Sue Little of Obion, JoAnn Morris of Dyer and Martha Jackson of Milan; and three brothers, Richard Leach, Gerald Leach and Gary Leach, all of Dyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, B.F. and Irene Leach; and a brother, Tom Leach.


Roy Leon Morris, 70, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Ridgely Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evansville Free Holiness Church with Bro. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. Friday at Curry Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Ann Owens of Dyersburg and Cathy Lynn Wilson of Newbern; and three brothers, Benjamin Franklin Inman, Travis Lee Inman and Joseph Anthony Inman, all of Dyersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Franklin Inman and Cynthia Viola Patterson; a sister, Ellen Jane Richardson; and a brother, Larry Dale Inman.

Pallbearers will be Tracey Owens, Joseph Owens, Steve Inman, Danny French, Jimmy Dewane Wilson and Larry Dale Owens.


Mary Nina Ottinger, 87, of Friendship, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Bells Nursing Home.

She was a retired employee of Kellwood Manufacturing and Crockett County Nursing Home and was a member of Bethany Church of Christ in Trenton.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Friendship Funeral Home with Chaplain Joan Dean officiating.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Whitby of Friendship; three sisters, Billie Cowart and husband, Jack, of Memphis, Peggy Delgado of Tuscon, Ariz. and Sandra Daniels and husband, Mac, of Dyersburg; a brother, Bobby Dillaha and wife, Yvonne, of The Villages, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sylvester Ottinger; a daughter, Martha Sue Walls; son, James Dewayne Ottinger; and her parents, Charles and Nettie Seaton Dillaha.
