Two persons accused of prying open the money-changing machine at the Trimble carwash waived their rights to preliminary hearings May 19 in Dyer County General Sessions Court.
Kevin W. Ross, 32, and Brandy Savers Ross, 32, of 1819 Troy Hickman Road, are charged with burglary and vandalism. The charges have been bound over to the action of a grand jury and could result in indictments.
The pair reportedly burglarized the carwash and vandalized the money-changing machine on April 24.
In other recent general sessions court action:
* Britt Russell, 36, 54 Simpson Hill Road, had a preliminary hearing on May 19 on a charge of trespassing. He is accused of crashing a birthday party on March 8 when he was specifically told not to attend.
* Preston Todd Thrasher, 41, 476 Katie Cove, waived his right to a preliminary hearing May 22 on a fourth offense driving on a suspended license. He was cited April 4 after stopping at a sobriety checkpoint.
