A judge has to sign off on the request for Dubrule, 60, 850 Dan Willis Rd., Newbern, to be taken into custody.
Dubrule is scheduled to appear in city court on Aug. 12 on the case. He is charged with reckless driving, evading arrest, resisting arrest, DUI, and violation of the implied consent law for the June 6 incident.
The incident happened while Dubrule was free on bond after he was indicted in August 2007 on 49 counts of illegally issuing prescription medicine.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Murphy filed the motion to revoke Dubrule's release based on his recent arrest and his "erratic behavior."
"In the event that Dubrule's bond is not revoked, the government submits that these conditions are necessary to protect the public from Dubrule's erratic behavior," said the memorandum.
Regarding the aftermath of the June 6 arrest, Murphy wrote: "Dubrule refused any medical treatment other than an EEG and wanted to leave. While at the hospital, Dubrule spoke openly about the government trying to kill him and that he was a world famous physician. Dubrule also went into a tirade about how hurricane Katrina was caused by the government and that Jewish people were responsible for destroying the dams in New Orleans."
Murphy also used a local police report about Dubrule's weekly visits to the FedEx office on Brewer Road, where he waited for packages from a pharmaceutical company in Illinois. Dubrule's medical license was revoked in May 2005, said Murphy.
"Because Dubrule is no longer licensed as a physician and no longer has a DEA registration, the government submits that he has no need to receive regular packages from a pharmaceutical company. Moreover, this situation, i.e., the receipt of regular packages from an out-of-state pharmaceutical company, is of great concern given the fact that Dubrule is charged in this case with illegally distributing prescription drugs."
A letter Dubrule sent to the Tennessee Department of Health in April 2008 noted the former physician "complains about the proceeding in which he agreed to the suspension of his medical license, and makes several rather bizarre claims.
"The following is an example of one of these claims: You claim to have read the record on this case. I have already complained to the transcriptionist and court officers that the Sept 1, 2004 has critical omissions. What is there is shocking. On page [unreadable] is part of the testimony about the stock market securities con game which was realized in only 30 days when Merck corporation suffered a contrived loss of 1.6 BILLION dollars in one day. Of greater interest to the public however will be the coverup of deviant sexual assault against children to cover up theft of privilege."
Dubrule is also running for state representative for the Tennessee House of Representatives 77th District.

Dubrule has not disappeared yet. He was spotted in Gibson County today.
My goodness, I read this story and thought it pertained to the excellent adventures of Ross Debrule not emptying the political closet of available skeletons. In the words we all surely heard as children, "Just because someone jumps off a bridge doesn't mean you should." Why would anyone waste their time with finger pointing during an election year. I submit we don't have enough appendages on our bodies to complete the task!
I simply have to wonder what in the world Mr. Debrule is still doing on the streets of Dyer County. Congratulations to the State Gazette for giving Ross a head start. I would imagine he has now had ample to time to disappear and never face the charges brought against him and his wife. What's that - I hear a small voice...."You are innocent until you run out of money." (Hope the voice doesn't belong to one of those little green men.)
I knew someone would jump on the bash the democrat bandwagon. But it isn't just the Democrats that get into trouble.
Edison Misla Aldarondo charged with molesting his daughter and her friend for 8 years.
Randal David Ankeney, Republican activist, arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a child with force. He faces 6 charges related to getting a 13-year-old girl stoned on pot and then having sex with her. Source also accused of sexually assaulting another girl.
Merrill Robert Barter, Republican County Commissioner, pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual contact and assault on a teenage boy.
Robert Bauman, Republican congressman and anti-gay activist, was charged with having sex with a 16-year-old boy he picked up at a gay bar.
Parker J. Bena, Republican activist and Bush Elector, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography (including children as young as 3 years old) on his home computer and was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison and fined $18,000.
Howard L. Brooks, Republican legislative aide and advisor to a California assemblyman, was charged with molesting a 12-year old boy and possession of child pornography
John Allen Burt, Republican anti-abortion activist, convicted of sexually molesting a 15 year old girl at the home for troubled girls that he ran
Richard A. Dasen Sr., Republican benefactor of conservative Christian groups, convicted of sexual abuse of children, promotion of prostitution and several counts of solicitation, enough to add up to a sentence of 126 years in prison.
And that is just the tip of the iceberg.
Sounds like he was taking more than he was selling . He should fit right in with the rest of Democrat controlled Congress,They are selling this country out day by day .
Dr. Dubrule, you and your family have always tried to portray yourselves as high and mighty, well guess what? It has come to and end, so maybe now instead of walking with your noses up, you can walk with them down!!!
he'd fit right in with the rest of congress
Will he be joining Dr Carter?
I guess so.
You take enough of those pills he was prescribing and you will be delusional too!
Does this man also live with little green men?
