This jerry osborne needs to give it a break.. Chris is gone. GET OVER IT!!!
For tourism this interstate means a lot. All of the other roads run through Nashville or Dollywood, this will put us on the map and maybe help us to grow more. This end of the state is dead like Elvis. I thought it was very news worthy. 69 will run from Cananda to Mexico coming by us and all those people traveling mights stop here to spend some money. Memphis already has there 69 pretty much completed heading into Mississippi to Tunica where all the gambling casinos are.
This will be so helpful when completed . Will help save time and money for travelers.
i know they want to bring back a part of history but the way things are going that money could be put to better use. if gas doesn't go down no one will be able to drive on it
well, slow news day or fast news day--whatever, the state gazette would fill up the front page with several--i mean several snap shots, some of which we can't really figure out what it is. remember those last week of a map or whatever i never could figure out what it was???
all i wanted to see was a map of exactly where I69 will be going
I think it's known as a slow news day. Patience, more interesting news will come. I'd rather see an I-69 photo than a shooting. I doubt the State Gazette send a photographer to Indiana for that snapshot. Someone attending the event probably sent it to the paper. Revell is looking good. Standing between two older gents, helps. ;-)
this makes a wonderful local news story! an ex-dyersburg mayor somewhere in indiana holding an i-69 hiway sign. i'm sure all the subscribers are thrilled to be so fully informed on the front page of the paper, nonetheless. keep up the great work until a suitable competing news organization comes aboard.
