Fire burns Dyersburg Square store

Dyersburg firefighters check the interior of Mr. Fixits Discount Tools and Hardware store in the Dyersburg Square Shopping Center early Sunday morning. The fire is thought to have started near the front of the store along a support pillar, said DFD Chief Bob Veal. The fire was reported at 1:40 a.m. Several neighboring stores - Dollar General, State Finance and Aaron's rentals suffered from smoke from the fire.
