Dixie Ann Davis, 90, of Newbern, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of RSVP.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn King officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Sue Boos of Huron, Ohio; four sons, Danny Wayne Davis and James Ronald Davis, both of Newbern, Jerrie Davis of Hornbeak and Larry Joe Davis of Dyersburg; a sister, Mozelle Newsom of Newbern; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ausgood Davis; and her parents, Tom and Barbara Ann Church Pettie.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Hart, Jack Andrew, Greg Colson, Daniel Davis, Michael Davis and Gary Boos. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles E. Peevyhouse and James Plunk.
Jettie Carol Lewellyng, 73, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg with Brother John Morris officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Curry Funeral Home.
Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie Hodge and husband, Namar, of Murfreesboro, and Karen Turner and husband, Jerry, JoAnna Puraty and husband, David, and Wanda Jones and husband, Ken, all of Dyersburg; two sons, Ricky Lewellyng and wife, Beverly, and Russell Lewellyng and wife, Sherry, all of Dyersburg; a sister, Romano Harber of Jackson; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. "Joe" Lewellyng; and her parents, Ewing Black and Lena Black Raley.
Pallbearers will be Namar Hodge, Dave Puraty, Justin Puraty, Ken Jones, Cory Lewellyng, Christopher Lewellyng, Lee Turner and Wanda Jones.
Juarl S. Jackson, 62, of Halls, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Curve Missionary Baptist Church in Halls with the Rev. John Payne officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Thompson's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include five daughters, Tammy Gooch and Shirley Deberry, both of Ripley, Diane Currie and Ella Mae Ricks, both of Dyersburg, and Alicia Waters of Halls; two sons, Michael Shannon of Halls and Anthony Jackson of Lexington; five sisters, Sular Jones of Chicago, Ill., Helen Williams, Joann Jackson and Alice Fisk, all of Halls, and Martha Halliburton of Ripley; three brothers, Leo Spivey of Michigan, Larry Spivey of Jackson and R.B. Spivey of Philadelphia, Miss.; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
John "Bondy" Lovins Sr., 66, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Grace Presbyterian Church in Dyersburg with the Rev. Chris Seymoure officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Lovins of Dyersburg; two daughters, Pamela Reeves and Armetrus Howard, both of Dyersburg; five sons, John Lovins Jr., Rynell Lovins, Derry Lovins and Daryll Moore, all of Dyersburg, and Cedrick Lovins of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Sue Dell Mays of Dyersburg and Hattie Florence of Ripley; and a brother, James Moorer of Chicago, Ill.

Janet Palmer Willis, 49, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker, former assistant librarian at McIver's Grant Public Library and a member of Main Street Church of Christ, where she taught children's Bible classes.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Brother Sean Sullivan and Tay Joslin officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
Survivors include her husband, Rick "Ricky" Willis of Dyersburg; a son, Gatlin Lowell Willis of Dyersburg; her parents, R.M. and Etna Asbridge Palmer of Dyersburg; a sister, Jennifer Holt of Dyersburg; and in-laws Austin and Lou Willis of Newbern.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Weeks.
Pallbearers will be Randy Sims, Tay Joslin, Mark Tyler, Jackie Brewer, Russell Cozart and Harry Elliott.
