Jerry C. 'Yogi' Allmon, 74, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired employee of the city of Newbern Water Department and a member of Newbern First Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. James Combs officiating. Burial will be in Yorkville Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Reva Harris of Dyersburg; a brother, Donald Allmon; a grandchild, Holly Owen of Dyersburg; and a great-grandchild, Colton Venton of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Allmon; and his parents, Ralph H. and Amma Carroll Allmon.
Pallbearers will be Pat Owen, Darrell Gillon, Van Arnold, Benson Hulme, David Allen and Stanley Ethridge.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
Peggy Ann Lucas, 77, of Memphis, formerly of Newbern, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008 at Methodist Hospital-North.
She was a retired employee of Goodwill.
Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. today at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern with Jerry Leach officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 3:30-4:15 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Survivors include a niece, Beth Minner of Bartlett; a great-niece, Rachel Minner of Bartlett; and a great-nephew, Adam Minner of Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otho and Mary Lucas; and her brother, Jere Lucas.
Vernon C. Moore, 91, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008 at his residence.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Pierce Lane Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Gaithel Moore Hendren and husband, Bubba, and Deborah Moore Davidson and husband, Travis, all of Dyersburg; a son, Cleland T. Moore and wife, Jenny, of Dyersburg; a sister, Linnie Lockhart of Jackson; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Margaret Moore, and a son, Lenville "Buddy" Moore.
Pallbearers will be Alan Webb, Marc Thompson, Kane Howe, Trenn Jones, John Harwell and Grant Montgomery.
Jason Terrill "Terry" Moore, 43, of Newbern, died Friday, August 8, 2008 at his residence.
He was a former employee of Dyersburg Fabrics and Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. James Combs officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Newbern.
Survivors include his wife, Carla Kincade Moore of Newbern; a son, Nathan Moore of Newbern; his parents, John E. and Jeanette Stout Moore of Newbern; a sister, Cali Acuff of Columbia, Tenn.; a grandmother, Violet Stout of Newbern; and in-laws Jim and Anne Kincade of Union City.
Pallbearers will be Robert Cloar, Durrand McIntosh, Tony Franks, Jeff Kincade, David McCutcheon and Raymond Evans. Honorary pallbearer will be Dennis Allen.
