Jerry Lee McCorkle, 59, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008 at his residence.
He was retired as an employee of Heckethorn Manufacturing, where he worked for more than 30 years.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at Curry Funeral Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Jean McCorkle of Michigan; and two brothers, John and James McCorkle, both of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra McCorkle; his parents, Homer and Mae McCorkle; a sister, Sharlotte Holt; and a brother, Ray McCorkle.
Jimmy Wayne Patterson, 62, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a truck driver for 35 years, employed with Day After Day Trucking and was a member of the Teamsters Union Association.
Services will be at 7 p.m. today at Curry Funeral Home with Brother Noah Broughton officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Alvada Patterson of Dyersburg; two daughters, Melissa Patterson Singleton and husband, Eddie, and Ashley Patterson, all of Dyersburg; two sisters, Joyce McCorkle and Margie Galloway, both of Dyersburg; two brothers, Thomas Patterson and Jerry Patterson, both of Dyersburg; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Megan Singleton.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Elick Patterson; his parents, Jesse and Lettie Patterson; a sister, Betty Prater; and a brother, Ray Patterson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the United Way.
