A musical gathering

Members of the Jackson Area Plectral Society gather each Friday night at the gazebo in downtown Halls for some good, old-fashioned music and fellowship. For the past year, musicians and music lovers alike from Dyersburg, Halls, Jackson, Milan and Ripley have joined in the town's mini-park or at The Moon, a coffeehouse on Front Street, to enjoy the tradition of bluegrass, gospel and country featuring the peaceful melodies of old string music.
