Betty Ann Hogan, 72, of Dresden, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 at Tennessee State Veteran's Home in Humboldt.
She was a homemaker, a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Dresden and an avid songwriter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Paul Bramlett officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Ridgely chapel.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Barker of Martin, Janice Sayre of Barnsdall, Okla., and Jennifer Butts of Dresden; six sons, Ernest Hogan, Robert "Bobby" Lee Hogan, James Franklin Hogan, Ricky Lynn Hogan, Gregory Wayne Hogan and Michael Ray Hogan, all of Dresden; three sisters, Alice C. Moore of Humboldt, Mary Douthit and Linda Austin, both of Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Kenneth Ivy of Dresden, Roger Ivy of Paris and Donald Ivy of Como; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Franklin Hogan; her parents, Ezell and Rosa Mae Ivy; a sister, Dorothy Smith; and a brother, David Ivy.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Hogan, Michael Hogan, Joseph Hogan, Adam Hogan, Chris Barker, Kevin Barker and Dallas Barker.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Disabled American Veterans.
