Obituaries for Sept. 16, 2008

Lurline V. Robbins, 88, of Halls, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Halls Funeral Home with Dr. Trent Bullock officiating. Burial was in Grace Cemetery in Ripley.

The widow of Edward Robbins, survivors include two sons, Michael Robbins of Halls and Jim Robbins of New Albany, Miss.; a sister, Jenny Vaughan of Ripley; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
