Thomas L. "Tom" Eison Sr., 70, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 at his residence.

He was a retired innkeeper and co-owner of Holiday Inn, a farm owner, a member of Phillips Street Church of Christ, retired member of the Air National Guard, and a member of the Dyersburg Saddle Club.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Tom Bright, Larry Fowlkes and Parks Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Perilyn Sue Eison; a son, Tom L. Eison Jr. and wife, Kimmy, of Dyersburg; and two grandchildren, Lauren Eison and Grant Eison.

Pallbearers will be Scott Adams, Kerry McLaughlin, Anthony Adams, Joe Roberts, Dwayne Dillahay and Jeff Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Adams, David Ozment, Douglas Williams, Jackie Eison, Parks Thurmon, Edgar Shults, Doty Johnston, Novis Fisher and Leroy Neal.

Larry William Herron, 61, of Springfield, formerly of Newbern, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 at NorthCrest Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Herron and Kesha Herron, both of Dyersburg; a son, Lawerence Herron of Minniola, Texas; a sister, Helen Marie Darden of Springfield; a brother, Bobby J. Herron of Newbern; and three grandchildren.

Billy Matt Stover, 77, of Dyer, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008.

He was president, chairman of the board, director and CEO of The Farmers & Merchants Bank of Dyer, a bank examiner for the state of Tennessee, served in the Air Force, served on the board of directors of the Tennessee Bankers Association, was a director of Gibson Electric Co-op, a Mason, Shriner and member of Dyer First Methodist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Dyer First Methodist Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in New Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Elbridge.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jackie; two daughters, Kalista Carroll and husband, Jon, and Terrie Joyner and husband, William; a sister, Peggy Lamanna and husband, Joe; two grandchildren, Julie and Kellie Joyner; and a nephew, Joey Lamanna.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Powell and Cammie Stover.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to New Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery Association in Elbridge, or Dyer First Methodist Church Building Fund.

Gavin Crocker Webb, infant son of Chad and Mandy Webb, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 3-4 p.m. Monday at the church.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Madelyn Webb; grandparents Danny Brown, Donald and Brenda Davis, all of Dresden, and Jack and Sarah Webb of Cottage Grove; and great-grandparents Frances Brown of Sharon and Leon Crocker of Tiptonville.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents L.D. Brown, Mae Pinion, J.E. and Nettie Rea Webb, and Morgan and Dorothy Kemp.
