John Bundy Alexander II, 66, of Niles, Mich., formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 at his residence.
He was an employee of Reyers Trucker Company in South Bend and a former employee of Clark Equipment Company in Buchanan.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles, Mich., with pastor Sean Kidd officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles.
The family will receive visitors at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Heather Herbstreith and husband, Rob, of Niles, Mich.; a son, John Bundy Alexander and wife, Andrea, of Mishawaka, Ind.; a sister, C.J. Forray of Burbank, Calif.; four half brothers and sisters; four grandchildren, Charity, Brenna, J.B. and Lexi; a niece, Ashley Snyder of Niles, Mich.; and a close friend, Linda C. Alexander.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
Gerald Tanner Sanders, 75, of Obion, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Union City with Rick Knoll officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Sanders of Obion; two daughters, Angela Naifeh and husband, Chris, of Millsfield and Bethany Matthews and husband, Terry, of Johns Island, S.C.; a son, Gerald Brian Sanders of Obion; a sister, Marilyn Gaither and husband, Lonnie, of Memphis; three brothers, Randall Sanders and wife, Deloris, Lowell Sanders and wife, Glenda, and Kenneth Sanders and wife, Paula, all of Obion; two grandchildren, Olivia Beth Naifeh and Laurei Christin Naifeh, both of Millsfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willi Len and Alliene Tanner Sanders.
Pallbearers will be Brent Gaither, Roger Sanders, Lynn Sanders, Billy Smith, John Law, Ty Parker, Tab Ragsdale and Chris Cummings. Honorary pallbearers will be Boyd Clanton, Emery Burden, Tom Hopkins, Herman Denning, Danny Smith, Jimmy Gwaltney, Ebb Gwaltney Jr., Randy Mouser, Jimmy Thomas and Coleman Hamlin.
