William Thomas Harris, 74, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a Korean War veteran, and was a member of American Legion Post 191 and Les Gentle Hommes.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cosmopolitan Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Al Seward and the Rev. James A. Williamson officiating. Burial will be held in the M.C.C.O. Cemetery in Newbern with military honors.
The family will receive visitors Thursday at 11 a.m. until service time in the chapel.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Harris of Arlington, Texas, and Mikki Harris of Dyersburg; three sons, Tommie Lee Harris of Tacoma, Wash., Kenny Harris of Arlington, Texas, and Robert Chatman of Nashville; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Clydia Harris, and father, Tommy Lee Harris.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Randal, Rickey King, Jeff Gardner, Kenny Harris, Robert Chatman, Jesse Jones and Thurmond Robinson.
