Obituaries for Oct. 21, 2008

Melba Darlene Rushing, 53, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a retired cashier for Kroger.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Halls Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Holland officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Harvey Rushing of Dyersburg; a sister, Laura Shrader of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Mark Collingsworth of Bartlett; two nephews and two great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Wayne Eison and Dorothy Gibbons; and her grandmother, Clare Eison.
