James Joseph Bock, 64, of Ridgely, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 at his residence.
He was a retired machinist for Amtrak, a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Chicago and attended Cottonwood Baptist Church in Ridgely.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cottonwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Rob Dennison officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Bock of Ridgely; two daughters, Donna McGinn and husband, Patrick, of Arlington Heights, Ill. and Christine Kelly and husband, Gordon Kelly II, of Mayslick, Ky.; a son, James Bock and wife, Debbie, of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Dorothy Torchia and husband, Joseph, and Marlene Dobrovolny and husband, Fred, all of Bloomingdale, Ill.; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Estelle Bock; and a grandson, Joseph Cardella.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Kathie Floyd Clanton, 53, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Stan Cavness officiating.
The family will receive visitors at 5-7 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Survivors include her companion, Timmy Rose of Dyersburg; two daughters, Nita Gladden and Geene Pierce, both of Dyersburg; a son, David "Bill" Floyd of Dyersburg; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Ward of Dyersburg; a sister, Alvada Patterson of Dyersburg; three brothers, George Freeman Floyd of Hornbeak, Vernon Armstrong of Florida and Ricky Floyd of Hickman, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Gladden; her parents, George Freeman Floyd and Wilma Jones Floyd; a sister, Viola Baker; and a brother, Harold Armstrong.
Pallbearers will be Andy Rose, Dwayne Anderson, Bryan Anderson, Jeremy Lumley, Brandon Neal and Matt Stacks. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Rose.
Nancy Wiggins, 75, of Henning, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Fort Pillow with the Rev. Robert T. Sims Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at noon-6 p.m. Friday at Thompson's Mortuary in Ripley.
The widow of Arthur Jean Wiggins, survivors include a daughter, Margaret Boyd of Rockford, Ill.; a son, Samuel Lee Wiggins of Henning; and a niece who cared for her, Elnora Whitelaw of Henning.
