Gerald Ray Massengill, 58, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008 at his residence.

He was a retired telecommunications engineer, a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, and a Baptist.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sisters, Susie Rickert and Mitzi Gail Fowlkes, both of Dyersburg; two brothers, David Allen Fowlkes of Dyersburg and Tommy Massengill of Ripley; and a half sister, Hilda Quinn of Union City.

He was preceded in death by his son, Julian Ray Massengill; and his parents, George and Dorothy Massengill.

Demova McKeel, 84, of Mason Hall, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008 at Dyer Nursing Home.

She was retired as a press operator for Kellwood.

Services were Saturday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Hanks officiating. Burial was in New Salem Cemetery in Mason Hall.

Survivors include a daughter, Gale Medley and husband, Danny, of Mason Hall; four sons, Jim McKeel and Mike McKeel, both of Yorkville, Bobby McKeel, and David McKeel and wife, Shirley, all of Dyer; four sisters, Juanita Carrell, Florence Etta "Bug" Fultz and Arthell McCann, all of Newbern, and Edith Moore of Churchton; four brothers, Finis Miller of Yorkville, Vernon Miller of RoEllen, Bruce Miller of Newbern and Don Miller of Churchton; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.C. McKeel; a son, Jerry McKeel; her parents, Ollie Harvey and Irvia Lee Miller; a sister, Edna Boone; and two brothers, Bill Miller and Charles Miller.

Pallbearers will be J.C. Graves, Mark Green, Tim Hassell, Randy Sims, Keith Hulme and Jeremy McKeel.

Clifton "Cliff" Yarbrough, 61, of Mason Hall, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 at his residence.

He was an employee of West Tennessee Golf, LLC.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Mason Hall Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Bobby Williams and the Rev. Charles McCall officiating. Burial will be in Mason Hall Cemetery. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors at noon today at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Neika Yarbrough of Mason Hall; three daughters, Jessica Heckler of Florida, Tammye Pirie of Colorado and Lisa Yarbrough-Ritter of Mason Hall; two sons, Donald Burkhart of England and James Yarbrough of Georgia; two sisters, Patricia Barber of Martin and Willa McCall of Trimble; a brother, Carlton Yarbrough of Mason Hall; and three grandchildren, Allex Ritter, Avery Ritter and Jacey Heckler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Claudine Yarbrough.

Pallbearers will be Robert Galloway, Kenneth Galloway, Chris Young, Sonny Yarbrough, Britt Reed, Adam McCall, Robert May, Bill Robertson, Joe Jenkins and Robert Eddlemon.
