Donnie Ray French, 55, of Reagan, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008 at his residence.
A private burial was held in Reagan on Nov. 14.
Survivors include his wife, Betty French of Reagan; two sons, Mickey Young of Fort Smith, Wash. and Josh French of Reagan; five sisters, Christy Harris of Yorkville, Janie Childrey of Newbern, Patty Marbry of Trenton, Grace Hayes of Jackson and Patty Dickson of Reagan; two brothers, Mike Middleton and Mickey Middleton, both of Reagan; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer French and Betty Middleton; and a sister, Sheila Goleman.
Pallbearers were Danny Harris, Greg Brimmer, David Smith, Allen Cooper, Harold Hensley and James Hudson.
Beth Towater, 62, of Union City, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at her residence.
She was a retired schoolteacher of 16 years for Union City School System and Milan Special School District, a member of Union City First Baptist Church, where she attended the Nancy Dunn Sunday School class, a member of Delian Review club and Women's Club of Union City. She was founding director of Kare Bear Preschool at First Baptist Church in Union City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Union City First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in East View Cemetery. White Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Towater; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tracey and Jody Kizer and Ashley Towater, all of Union City; her mother, Marie Denney Sturdivant of Milan; a sister, Gail Grooms of Milan; two grandchildren, Emily Kizer and Pierce Kizer, both of Union City; and two nieces; and a nephew.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Kare Bear Preschool at First Baptist Church or Union City Schools Foundation Inc.
