Robert Wayne Hearn Jr., of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008 in Church Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Gardner officiating. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his parents, Rebecca Leiva of Dyersburg and Robert Hearn Sr. of Millsboro, Del.; his grandparents, John Todd and Irma Newell of Dyersburg and John and Connie Hearn of Millsboro, Del.; his great-grandparents, Donna Everett of Newbern and John Newell of Chicago, Ill.; and his great-great-grandmother, Inez Everett of Newbern.
He was preceded in death by his great-great-grandparents, Hoss Everett, Cleve and Carmen Newell, Juan Joe Rivera and Maria Otilla Moran.
James "Junior" Fultz, 77, of Lane, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired farmer, a member of Rehoboth Church of Christ and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Cemetery with Bro. Glen Burse and Bro. Rick Crawford officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 4:30-8 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Lois Fultz of Lane; two sons, Tim Fultz and Sydney Fultz and wife, Larenda, all of Dyersburg; and two grandchildren, Shelby Fultz and Suzanne Fultz, both of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Josie Fultz.
Pallbearers will be Larry Bennett, Danny James, Larry Edwards, Bud Nichols, Jim Nichols and Terry Sweat. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Jones and Melvin Hughes.
John A. Meyer, 69, of Centralia, Wash., formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008.
He was a retired railroad employee, lawnmower repairman, and an avid fisherman and cook.
Graveside services took place Monday at Ilwaco, Wash., Cemetery. Penttila's Chapel by The Sea was in charge of arrangements. The guestbook is available at www.penttilaschapel.com.
Survivors include four children, Jeldi Meyer and Louis Meyer of Vancouver, Wash., Velma Slaughter of Logan Sport, Ind., and Jonny Meyer of Japan; five stepchildren, Linda Rita and Nick Everitt of Vancouver, Wash., Mary Everitt of Gig Harbor, Wash., Christopher Everitt of Dyersburg and Brandon Everitt of Longview, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Sharron; and his parents, Zenas and Velma (Cook) Meyer.
