Lydia Henderson, 85, of Fulton, Ky., died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton, Ky.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Graveside services were at noon Monday in Obion County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Danny Potts officiating. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Faye Hodges of Garden City, Mich. and Linda Ingrum of Fulton, Ky.; two sons, Bill Henderson of Olathe, Kan. and Larry Henderson of Dyersburg; two sisters, Agnes Wilkerson of Fulton, Ky. and Mary Lou Kowoski of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, James Workman of South Fulton and Earl Workman of Palmersville; 11 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Will D. Henderson; her parents, Bill and Bertha Berryman Workman; four sisters; a brother; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
Lemuel King, 53, of Anniston, Ala., formerly of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was supervisor for Anniston Supply Depot and a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Air Force.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg. Thompson's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry King of Dyersburg; a stepdaughter, Charlestria Mosley of Dyersburg; a stepson, Everett Cole of Dyersburg; four sisters, Joanne Edwards, Nora King, Nora Nolan and Francis Wynn, all of Dyersburg; four brothers, Ricky King and Johnny King, both of Dyersburg, Ervin Toles of Fayetteville, N.C., and Larry King of Washington, D.C.; and a grandchild, Victoria Darnay King of Dyersburg.
David Joel Moore, 57, of Memphis, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 at The Med in Memphis.
He was a car man for Burlington Northern Santa Fe and a member of Mount Tirzah Baptist Church in Tatumville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Bartlett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors at 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include five sisters, Grace Wiseman Gurganus, Betty Joan Moore, Margaret Ellis, Glenda Whaley and Wanda Murphy; a brother, James Robert Moore; and two grandchildren, Steve and Blake Carter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret Moore; and a brother, Mark Moore.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the Humane Society.
Maxine Pate, 79, of North Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008.
She was a retired employee of the Tennessee Employment Office.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, T. H. "Bud" Pate Jr.; a daughter, Pam Richey and husband, Ray, of Maumelle, Ark.; a son, Buddy Pate and wife, Debbie, of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Harry Brewer of Dyersburg; five grandchildren, Michael Cupples and wife, Danae, Jennifer Compton and husband, Adam, Laura Wilson and husband, David, Hank Pate, and Jessyka Pate; and eight great-grandchildren.
