Charlotte A. Cook, 66, of Cordova, formerly of Dyersburg, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.
She was officer manager for Cook Sales.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Pilcher officiating. Memphis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at noon today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, James "Jim" Cook; two daughters, Alicia Rumbarger of Memphis and Sonya Starnes of Drummonds; a son, James Thomas "Bubba" Cook of Bartlett; her mother, Doris Vaughn Harris of Dyersburg; two sisters, Tommie Sue Kindle and Su Ann Childress, both of Dyersburg; five grandchildren, Jared Hyder, Walter E. Hyder, Jason Starnes, Thomas Clinton Starnes and James Nathan Starnes; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas D. Vaughn.
Minister Daniel T. Edmonds, 82, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Jones St. Church of Christ in Newbern with Bro. Terry D. Edmonds officiating. Burial will be in the M.C.C.O. Cemetery in Newbern. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors Saturday at noon at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Edmonds of Dyersburg; three daughters, Henrietta Murphy of Dyersburg, Billie L. Edmonds and Barbara A. Williams of Milwaukee, Wis.; five sons, J.R. Edmonds of Gardenia, Calif., Al Edmonds of Memphis, Stuart A. Edmonds of Dyersburg, Stephen B. Edmonds of Springfield, Ill., and Terry D. Edmonds of Racine, Wis.; a sister, Erma Jean Doster of Detroit, Mich.; a brother, William Edmonds of Memphis; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Bolden, Vershawn Edmonds, Bryan Edmonds, Marquis Edmonds, Jessie Long and Richard Dyson.
Carrye Lee Turner McDaniel, 71, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the M.C.C.O. Cemetery in Newbern with the Rev. Joe Williams officiating. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a daughter, Felicia McDaniel Williams and husband, Thomas, of Dyersburg; two sons, Andre McDaniel and Barry McDaniel of Dyersburg; a sister, Vernita Turner of Dyersburg; five brothers, Leon Wynn, Nathan Mahome of Dyersburg, Leo Wynn of Flint Mich., Roger Turner of Ellenwood, Ga., and Butch Wynn of Germany; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a great-great grandchild.
