Bettie Jane Caldwell, 88, of Newbern, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 at Dyersburg Manor.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Newbern First United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern with the Rev. Gus Lohrum officiating. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Caldwell of Newbern; a son, David Caldwell and wife, Diane, of Newbern; three grandchildren, Jason Caldwell and wife, Karen, John David Caldwell and wife, Kristen, and Jenny Caldwell and fiancÚ, Jonathan Bell, all of Newbern; and a great-grandson, Cooper Caldwell of Newbern.
He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Molly Kate.
Pallbearers will be Jason Caldwell, John David Caldwell, Jonathan Bell, Joe Adams, R.C. Owen and Jim Berry.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942; or Newbern First United Methodist Church, 103 W. Main St., Newbern, TN.
Hubert Isbell, 92, of Trimble, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was a farmer and a member of Trimble First Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Oakley and the Rev. Rick Isbell officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery in Dyer.
The family will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky Coleman of Trimble and Louetta Sanford and husband, Briggs, of Yorkville; five sons, Rusty Isbell and wife, Liz, Jerry Isbell and Perry "Spud" Isbell and wife, Barbara, all of Trimble, Bobby Isbell of Obion and Roger Isbell and wife, Donna, of Newbern; a sister, Katie Richards of Trenton; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Isbell; and a son, Jackie Isbell.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
