"As of today I bought Toyota of Dyersburg," said Castellaw, who also owns Tim Castellaw Lincoln-Ford-Mercury and Tim Castellaw Motor Sports, both located in Dyersburg, and Country Chevrolet & Cadillac located in Covington.
The new venture will remain Toyota of Dyersburg for the next 30 to 45 days until it assumes the name Tim Castellaw Toyota of Dyersburg.
Castellaw, who has been in the car business for more than 20 years, purchased the dealership from Sidney Wilson.
"We still have the same employees that were here," said Castellaw. "Some employees have been here for 12 and 13 years and have a lot of Toyota experience and we plan on keeping them."
Castellaw plans on operating in the same location on Forrest Street for the time being and then moving in the near future.
As some areas of America struggle with a sluggish economy and people wary of buying a new vehicle, Castellaw is very optimistic about purchasing a dealership at this time.
"Toyota is a great brand," said Castellaw. "Toyota does an awesome job selling cars."
As the world's largest automaker, Toyota is able to provide different ways to allow a person to drive one of their vehicles.
"Toyota has a lot of good lease rates and they do have some low financing," said Castellaw. He also maintains Toyota assists first-time buyers and people with credit problems in their purchase of a Toyota vehicle.
In addition to new vehicles, Castellaw offers a large selection of pre-owned cars, trucks and SUVs.

Good to know!
At least he isn't a pessimist.
Now this is a man I would love to work for. When things seem bad, he has a vision for the future.
Good luck, Tim!
I hope for the best for you Tim
No, he's no pessimist, but not a realist either. Or maybe he is. Maybe Dyersburg is the one place in the world where car sales are good and will be a good industry in which to invest more. Yes, if anywhere, Dyersburg.
why is this in the newspaper? this is not news this is free advertising for Castellaw.
It is amazing to me the read negitive comments about this man buying a troubled dealership, keeping it open and allowing people to keep their jobs. Thanks Tim, I don't know you but thanks for believing in this community enough to step up and stop the loss of some jobs.
Tim's a good guy. If I was looking for a new vehicle, I'd definitely give him a shot.
