Jimmy Lynn Jamison, 58, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, March 18, 2009 at Veterans Hospital in Memphis.
He was a retired employee of UPS, a Navy veteran, very active in Ducks Unlimited, and a member of the Elks Club and Moose Lodge.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Wolfgang officiating.
Survivors include his mother, Sue Jamison of Dyersburg; a sister, Suzanne Jamison of Marion, Ark.; and a nephew, Jamison McGuire of Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.W. Jamison; and grandparents Farris and Edna Jamison, and Ike and Lottie Reasons.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to East Dyersburg Methodist Church.
Patricia R. Palmer, 62, of Newbern, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at her residence.
She was dispatch supervisor for the Dyer County Sheriff's Office, coordinator for Terminal Agency for the state of Tennessee, and a former member of the Newbern Library Board.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. George Butler officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Elisha Evans of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a son, Jerry Hinson of Newbern; a stepson, David Alan Palmer of Newbern; two sisters, Kathy Casteel of Piedmont, Mo., and Janice Peevyhouse of Newbern; two brothers, Dennis Murphy of Humboldt and James Murphy of Newbern; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald David Palmer; and her parents, James C. and Ima Jean Tucker Murphy.
