Obituaries for April 10, 2009

Bertha Sue Parker, 69, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a former employee of HIS Manufacturing.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Union City with Bro. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak.

Survivors include a daughter, Julie Rinks of Hornbeak; two sons, Ronnie Parker of Tiptonville and Michael Parker of Troy; six sisters; two brothers; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bruce Parker; a son, Wayne Parker; and two sisters, Burlene Shaw and Mary Jane Spencer.

Pallbearers will be Donald Reynolds, Robert Delavega, Billy Reynolds, Donald Long, William Reynolds and Brandon Jones.
