Obituaries for April 12, 2009

John Wayne McCorkle, 64, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at his residence.

He was a track-hoe operator for McCorkle Septic Services.

Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Elaine McCorkle of Nashville; a son, John Scott McCorkle of Nashville; a brother, James McCorkle of Dyersburg; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky McCorkle; a sister, Sharlotte Faye McCorkle Holt; and two brothers, Jerry Lee McCorkle and Ray Franklin McCorkle.
