Pauline Smith, 98, of Ridgely, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Oakwood Community Living Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bogota Baptist Church for over 20 years.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. John Fowler, Bro. Paul Hogue and Bro. Bob Ozment officiating. Burial will be Zion Cemetery in Elbridge.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Pledge and husband, Terry, of Newbern and Pat Smith and husband, Louis, of Dyersburg; two sons, L.B. Smith and Bobby Smith and wife, Joyce, all of Ridgely; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Smith; a daughter, Margaret Jones; two sons, Dennis Smith and Almous Helen Smith; her parents, Robert and Josephene Reames Paschall; four sisters, Prude King, Rena Hollandworth, Evelyn Hollandworth and Reba Paschall; and three brothers, Claude Paschall, Connie Paschall and Dick Paschall.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Sanders, Bart Sanders, Darin Watson, Jeff Wright, Freddie Smith, Corie Smith, William Capps and Tommy Gurien.
Juana Skaggs Goodrich Ware, 69, of Trenton, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at her residence.
She was a retired employee of I.T.T. Telecommunications, a member and former Sunday school teacher of Southside Baptist Church and a member of Busy Fingers Club in Trezevant.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Loren Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Trezevant Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5 p.m. today at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan and at noon Friday at the church.
Survivors include her husband, Ike Ware of Trenton; a daughter, Deborah G. Dean of Karnack, Texas; three sons, Robert H. Goodrich of Atwood, Walter C. Goodrich of Huntingdon and Rowdy C. Goodrich of McLemoresville; five sisters, Carmi McMullins of Tacoma, Wash., Meta Carter of Kennewick, Wash., Meissia Smith of Corvallis, Ore., Justine Tate of Lakeside, Ore. and Darice Hansen of Coos Bay, Ore.
Pallbearers will be David Dean, Tim Ware, Nathan Worrell, Max Woods, Larry Paschal and David Boswell.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
