Thelma Lucille Belton, 84, of Halls, died Friday, May 1, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Enon Baptist Church with Bro. J.B. Haynes, Bro. Jerrell Dawson and Bro. Stan Cavness officiating. Burial will be in Halls Cemetery. Halls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The widow of Raymond Belton Sr., survivors include a daughter, Sue Wright of Halls; three sons, Raymond Belton, Artell Belton and Danny Belton, all of Halls; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Enon Baptist Church.
Deborah B. Criswell, 51, of Ripley, died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a teacher in Ripley and Dyersburg, a Sunday school teacher at Conner Assembly of God, and a member of the TEA and Delta Kappa Gamma.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Conner Assembly of God. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, John Wayne Criswell; a son, Jonathan Aaron Criswell of Dyersburg; and aunts Pat Harrison of Ripley, Donna Simpson of Oakland and Deloris Clanton of Dyersburg.
Lenora E. Jacks, 75, of Fowlkes, died Friday, May 1, 2009 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
She was a homemaker, retired as an insurance agent for Dyersburg Insurance Company, and a member of Fowlkes Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Melton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph "Neal" Jacks of Fowlkes; a daughter, Jean M. Jacks of Memphis; a son, Lynn A. Jacks and wife, Becky, of Fowlkes; a sister, Ruth Barber of Dickson; a brother, Warren Jones of Alliston, Canada; and two grandchildren, Holly M. Jacks of Jackson and Robert O. Jacks of Fowlkes.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Tabor; and two brothers, Riley Jones and Hubert Jones.
Pallbearers will be Tony Willis, Russell Willis, John Willis, James Motley, James McFarland and Jonathan Jones.
