Mary Peyton Finley, 14, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at her residence.
Services were at 4 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Dyersburg with the Rev. Mike Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at 4-7 p.m. today at the church.
Survivors include her parents, Chip and Lori Finley of Dyersburg; two sisters, Elizabeth Finley and Rachel Finley, both of Dyersburg; her grandparents, Charles and Margie James and Charles and Kathy Finley; and her great-grandmother, Jane Finley of Dyersburg.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Jim Caylor, Dr. Dwight Hedge, Dr. Lebron Lackey, Lebron Lackey, Ted Lackey, Dr. Landon Pendegrass and Dr. Scott Self.

Dennis Joslin, 61, of Athens, Texas, formerly of Dyersburg, died Friday, April 24, 2009 in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador.
He was a certified public accountant, a member of First United Methodist Church in Athens, Texas, and was an Army veteran of Vietnam.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Dyersburg with Dr. John Adams and the Rev. Lynn King officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Gibson Joslin of Athens, Texas; three daughters, Mary Katherine Ann Joslin and husband, Dennis Donato, of Memphis, Jansen Joslin Henderson and husband, Matt, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Jane Katherine Joslin of Athens, Texas; his mother, June Joslin Cooper; a sister, Vicky Peel and husband, Ike, of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Joslin Alexandra Henderson, Noah Scott Henderson and Jonas Gibson Akin; and Owen Gibson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, George Hendrix Joslin.

Howard Cook McNeely, 67, of Grandview, Mo, formerly of Newbern, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at his residence.
He was employed with the Internal Revenue Service and was former president of Kansas City BMW Club.
A private memorial service was held Friday, May 1.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Fox of Newbern; his mother, Genevieve Howard McNeely of Lee's Summit, Mo.; a sister, Sharon Blevins, Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Robert McNeely, Edwardsville, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Cook McNeely.

Adam Newsom, 47, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Indianapolis, Ind.
He was deputy general manager for Komatsu America Corp. in Ripley and a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.
Services were Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Chamblee and Bro. Nathan Lewis officiating. A committal graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Walcott, Ark.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Newsom of Dyersburg; two daughters, Mallory Newsom and Amelia Newsom, both of Dyersburg; a son, Colin Newsom of Dyersburg; and his parents, W.D. and Barbara Newsom of Walcott, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Andy Newsom.
Pallbearers will be Lewis Tanner, Terry Johnson, Terry Anderson, Billy Bryant, Danny Hickerson and Pete Pleasant.
